Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 14, 2026
MapleSOSM Calls ("the App") is an internal support tool developed by MapleSOSM for authorized support staff to manage evaluator communications. This privacy policy describes how the App collects, uses, and protects information.
1. Information We Collect
Phone State & Call Log
The App accesses READ_PHONE_STATE and READ_CALL_LOG to:
- Detect incoming and outgoing calls to display caller identification
- Log call duration and type for support analytics
- Sync call records with the MapleSOSM support platform
Contacts
The App accesses READ_CONTACTS to sync evaluator contact information from the MapleSOSM platform for caller identification purposes. The App does not read or upload your personal device contacts.
Phone Calls
The App uses CALL_PHONE and MANAGE_OWN_CALLS to initiate calls to evaluators directly from the call queue interface.
Audio Recordings
The App accesses READ_MEDIA_AUDIO to detect and upload call recordings (if call recording is enabled on the device) to the MapleSOSM support platform for quality assurance purposes.
Notifications & Overlay
The App uses POST_NOTIFICATIONS and SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW to display caller identification overlays and call status notifications during incoming calls.
Network
The App uses INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE to communicate with the MapleSOSM support API for syncing call data, contacts, and dashboard analytics.
2. How We Use Information
All collected information is used solely for:
- Identifying incoming callers from the evaluator database
- Logging and syncing support call records
- Displaying call analytics and dashboards for support staff
- Managing the evaluator call queue
- Uploading call recordings for quality assurance
3. Data Storage & Transmission
- Local storage: Contact names and call records are cached locally in an encrypted Room database on the device.
- Server transmission: Call logs, recordings, and support actions are transmitted over HTTPS to the MapleSOSM platform servers.
- Authentication: All API communication is authenticated via JWT tokens. No data is sent without user login.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share personal data with third parties. Data is only transmitted to MapleSOSM platform servers for the purposes described above.
5. Data Retention
Local cached data is retained on the device until the App is uninstalled. Server-side data is retained according to MapleSOSM's data retention policies.
6. User Rights
As an authorized support staff member, you can:
- Revoke any permission at any time via Android Settings
- Clear local data by clearing the App's storage
- Request deletion of server-side data by contacting your administrator
7. Security
We implement appropriate security measures including HTTPS encryption for all network communication, token-based authentication, and local database encryption.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
